Donate to Honor Bernie Goldblatt

We are praying for Bernie's swift and full recovery from COVID-19 (check his progress on and looking forward to the day we will honor him in good health for his tremendous service to Adath. The event is postponed, but the fund is open and we are collecting your messages for Bernie's keepsake book.

Please join us on Saturday, April 18th (postponed) as we honor Bernie Goldblatt during our Shabbat morning service.  Bernie retired at the end of January after 20 years of dedicated service as Adath’s Executive Director.  On April 18th we will celebrate the enormous contributions he has made to our Adath community, both during services and at a special Kiddush lunch afterwards.  Bernie will share his reflections as he gives the sermon that morning, Rabbi Kravitz will make a presentation during services honoring the tremendous impact Bernie has had on our community and its families over the last two decades, and everyone will have an informal opportunity to thank Bernie during the Kiddush luncheon.

If you would like to thank Bernie for his years of service, you can make a donation in his honor to The Bernie Goldblatt Fund at Adath Jeshurun Congregation.

We also invite you to write a message to express your gratitude to Bernie, which we will compile into a keepsake book for him so he can feel the depth of his impact on all of our lives. We would appreciate receiving your messages so we have enough time to create the keepsake book before our celebration on April 18th.
